From celebrating holidays from around the world at December Nights to satisfying your sweet tooth on National Cotton Candy Day, check out the top San Diego weekend events for December 6-9.

EVENTS

Sip and Savasana
Dec. 6. Take some quiet time for yourself this holiday season with a rooftop yoga class. The light vinyasa flow yoga class will overlook the downtown San Diego skyline. Complimentary sips from a local vendor will be served before and after class. Don’t forget to bring your own yoga mat. 5:30-7:30 p.m. Free. December Nights
Dec. 7-8. Attracting more than 350,000 visitors annually, December Nights is the largest free community festival in San Diego. Savor international delicacies, sample homemade treats or sip on something to keep you warm from one of many food and drink vendors. Plus live music, dance performances and holiday light displays. The Blues Brothers
Dec. 8. Sing and dance the night away with The Blues Brothers, a high-energy, authentic, rhythm-and-blues show band complete with a South Memphis accent. Elwood and Zee Blues put on the show of a lifetime by performing some of the bands greatest Blues Brothers hits such as “Sweet Home Chicago,” “Messin’ with the Kid,” and, of course, “Soul Man.” 18+. 8 p.m. $69+. Toast of Gaslamp 
Dec. 8. Toast the holidays with plenty of festive cocktails, small bites and shopping discounts at this seasonal self-guided walking tour. Tickets include 20 sips, 20 bites and 10 shopping deals to devour at your own pace. Menorah Lighting
Through Dec. 9. Join the Chabad of East County and the Chabad of the College Area for the lighting of the menorah, live entertainment, kids’ crafts, giveaways, and tasty treats in the courtyard near Macy’s Home Furniture Store. Dec. 7. Satisfy your sweet tooth with cotton candy and specialty cocktails topped with the sugary treat. Get Fluffed Up, a hand-crafted vegan “fairy floss” popular for its exotic and unexpected flavors, will set up a pop-up shop at the Little Italy Food Hall to offer cotton candy treats.
